Discover some "almost secret" treasures surrounding the Ithaca area on this summer cruise!  At Finger Lakes Farmstead in Mecklenburg, you'll learn about and sample the wares of a brilliant  local cheese maker. A tour Baker's Acres dazzling display gardens follows~ this horticultural jewel is loaded with numerous varieties of seasonal flowers, perennials, and herbs. Lunch is served at Ichabod's in Ithaca, then its on to New York's oldest covered bridge at Newfield. The highlight of your day awaits when master gardener Wayne Meyers opens his awe-inspiring private grounds and escorts you through his splendid gardens, exquisite stonework, restored mill, and hidden covered bridge. You've not seen a more beautiful landscape! Please be aware that walking is required to enjoy the garden sites you will visit. Bring your sun bonnet and walking shoes. $69

Enjoy a traditional "open air" summertime concert, with classic Big Band and Swing music as performed by the Ageless Jazz Band. Comfortable seating reserved just for you furnished by K Ventures. This event re-creates the time when the Horse  and Carriage reflected the quality of life and influenced the pace of occupational and social activities. Antique vehicles from tiny pony carts to handsome four-in-hand drawn road coaches will participate in a celebration of the art and sport of traditional 19th century driving. K Ventures provides comfortable seating for your viewing enjoyment, and a box lunch served on the grounds.
